This home extension project is the culmination of a simple, functional idea combined with our architect’s grander vision to create not only a functional space, but a stunning showpiece. Initially, this project required a new kitchen and living space and a renovated laundry and powder room, all on the ground floor of a two-storey home in Port Melbourne’s Beacon Cove estate. But when the initial design showed the skillion roof and the large areas of glazing, the project instantly stepped up a level. Our clients loved the innovative design and they honoured the innovative design by selecting a high level of finish throughout, appropriate to what the design had become. The automated, mirrored bar cabinet was the client’s own invention and now rivals the kitchen as one of the key highlights of the home. This project has provided a high level of satisfaction for all involved.
