Apartment Building

This 1937 apartment block had long been held by one owner as a rental/investment property and over the years it had become somewhat run down. Miscellaneous repairs over the years had been carried out to keep the property alive, but it had started to lose its sense of identity. Hence, architects were engaged to detail and specify the building requirements, and Bray Constructions were engaged to carry out a thorough refurbishment of the entire block. With only minor structural alterations, each apartment was rejuvenated from top to bottom. Bathrooms and kitchens were re-fitted with new cabinets, appliances and fittings, while carpets, floor coverings and electric heaters were replaced and fresh paint applied throughout. A new driveway, brick retaining wall, fencing and planting completed the external works and left this old building looking and feeling entirely refreshed.
